E-mail, Social Networking and e-Government Services
7.1 What is Email
The full name of Email is Electronic Mail. The message sent and received through an electronic medium using a computer is called Email or Electronic Mail. You can send multimedia messages (text, image, audio, video, etc.) at the same time anywhere in the world in a few seconds. We need to become a member of a mail server (such as Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, or Rediff) and create an email account to send and receive emails.
Email messages are usually encoded in ASCII text. However, you also send non-text files, such as graphics and audio, as well as attachments sent in binary streams.
Email addresses are always written in a standard format that includes a user name, @ (“At”) symbol, and the email provider’s domain. For example- onwebsharmag@gmail.com, onwebsharmag@outlook.com
